What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our enquiry form, we collect your name, email address, phone number and anything you choose to tell us in your message. We also keep emails and notes of phone calls with you, and the details needed to provide our services if you become a client.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit and prepare a quote. This is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and is in our legitimate interests in running our business. If you become a client, we use your details to provide our services under our contract with you, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Spam protection

Our enquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that enquiries come from people rather than automated programs. Turnstile looks at technical information from your browser for this check only; it is not used for advertising.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent. We use a small number of service providers to run our business. Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website, runs the spam check, stores form enquiries and sends them to us by email. Microsoft provides our email. Cloudflare may process data outside the UK; these transfers are protected by the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the safeguards in Cloudflare's data processing agreement.

How long we keep it

Website enquiries are deleted automatically from our website's database after 12 months. Emails about an enquiry that does not lead to a contract are deleted after 12 months (to confirm). Client records are kept for six years after the contract ends, to meet our tax and legal obligations (to confirm).

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct, delete or restrict it, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, email info@nklean.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
